Cermontinia was a versatile athlete who excelled in multiple arenas, including the boxing ring, basketball court, football field, and track. His natural talent, competitive spirit, and deep dedication quickly made him a standout performer and a respected teammate.

Maya Morrison

Maya Morrison is a 3rd-year ELA & integrated partner teacher at Turner Elementary School in Southeast Washington DC. A proud alumna of Bennett College for Women in Greensboro, NC, where she graduated in 2017, Maya brings a dedicated and dynamic approach to her classroom. This marks her first year working with the Fields of Dreams program, and she is eager to dive into the program's unique blend of academics and athletics. Her goal for the year is to deepen her connection to the program's mission, specifically by exploring the history and heritage of baseball.
